Project description
Co- applicant: CIRSES. Associated Partners: Homosexual Culture Circle “Mario Mieli” APS, Libellula Italia APS, Io Se Posso Komunico APS.
The project proposal aims to strengthen support and reference services for LGBTQIA+ people who are victims/survivors of situations of violence and/or discrimination, through the following activities: reception and listening; psychological and ethno-psychological support ; legal support; medical and health advice; orientation to social and work services; information desk in area of ‘accommodation’; information meetings on LGBTQIA+ topics aimed at psycho-social health professionals; communication and awareness. In particular, the project aims to provide a range of support and accompaniment services for LGBTQIA+ people, aimed at expanding opportunities for social inclusion and strengthening support pathways for people in a state of particular vulnerability/fragility, at risk of marginalization and discrimination. In this sense, access to adequate protection, health care, legal assistance and psychological support services will be enhanced. The project will also create an information/training pathway for professionals on the front line in personal support activities (psychosocial health professionals). The project will be implemented with the support of external bodies, with a view to networking and making the most of public and private resources.
