This module addresses intersectionality as a tool for understanding GBV as a structural phenomenon rooted in multiple forms of power: patriarchy, racism, ableism, and anti‑LGBTQIA+ prejudice. It also discusses data gaps and institutional narratives that marginalise certain types of violence.
